IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in the grappling competition organized by Arena, I, the undersigned competitor, acknowledge and agree to the following: Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in grappling activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, and discharge Arena, its officers, employees, agents, and volunteers, as well as Mid World Martial Arts, from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in this event, including those resulting from negligence or other acts of any kind. Medical Treatment: I consent to receive medical treatment in the event of injury or illness during the event. I understand that I am responsible for my own medical expenses. Media Release: I grant Arena and its affiliates the right to take photographs and videos of me during the event. I authorize the use of these images and videos for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials, without compensation to me. Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the state of [State]. If any part of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
